The Mehlville School District Board of Education unanimously approved the budget for the 2022-2023 school year (fiscal year 2023) at its June 23 meeting. The operating budget for fiscal year 23 is break-even.

It is with bittersweet emotions that I draft the last newsletter of the school year to you as I close this chapter and start a new one with the City of St. Charles School District as their ECC Principal. Ms. Tiffany Schwaegel has accepted the position of Director of Mehlville Early Childhood beginning July 1, 2022.

The Mehlville Board of Education unanimously approved the hiring of three administrators for the 2022-2023 school year: Tiffany Schwaegel, Director of Mehlville Early Childhood; Becky Bruning, Assistant Principal at Oakville High School; Dana Skrabacz, Assistant Principal at Oakville High School.

Located in south St. Louis County, Mehlville School District encompasses all or part of the unincorporated communities of Mehlville, Oakville, Concord and Lemay. Through its dedication to providing institutional excellence, fiscal responsibility and community benefit, our fully accredited district serves the educational needs of about 10,000 children in a community of about 96,000 residents within 42 square miles.
